Tight Spot

As if the parking around our office area weren't bad enough, the construction site at the end of our road has now brought huge trucks carrying (I guess) reinforced concrete beams that take up whole swathes of parking spaces. Amazingly, people actually did dare park their cars in the small spaces that the truck drivers left on either side of the trucks to enable them to drive out, and in fact, some people started double parking next to them.

Monolith

Damansara Ken is coming up and they seem to have made heaps of progress recently. In the dark though, the unlit Ken condominium looks like a huge dark monolith rising up in between the 2 low-rise apartment blocks.

RIP S2 Pro

My Fujifilm FinePix S2 Pro has been plagued with the so-called "black frame death" problem since it first happened in it's 11th month that I owned it. Luckily, at that time it was still under warranty and that covered it's repair in full. However, for the past 8 months I've been experiencing the occasional random recurrence of the "black frame death" symptoms although it would only happen once every say, 100 frames shot. However, last week, it finally gave up the ghost again, and this time, repair is not an option. It's simply too old and obsolete. Ironically, I think it doesn't matter that much, as I am shooting mostly with the Sony CyberShot DSC-V3 and the medium and large format cameras on film these days.
