Thaipusam

Some of our friends went to Batu Caves this Thaipusam to watch the proceedings and dropped by our place for lunch afterwards. We tend not to go there too often on days like that - too hot and too many people! Clearly it was too much for some of them too, and I was able to take this shot of Karen asleep on our sofa with the Graflex Super Graphic, on Ilford FP4 sheet film (Kodak Ektar 127mm f/4.7 lens).



Those black marks you see in the shot are actually scratches on the negative. No idea how it happened, but that's how the lab returned it to me, so they didn't charge me for it.
