The Fish

Photo info: Fuji S2 Pro, bounce flash

I haven't posted yet about the fish, so seems like this is a good time to do it. Mum managed to acquire one of those floating water plant things to add to the fish bowl, and it does liven things up a fair bit! It also seems to keep the water quite clean, not sure how that works. Anyway, in this shot you can see the plant, 2 of the fish and one of the porcelain Chinese babies that we stuck into the water as decoration.

Pity both the plant and the fish died isn't it? Then again there wouldbe some problem of "fish baby sitting" over Christmas when you both go over to Spain!

Both the fish and plant died? That's a shame, because it looks really nice. Mind you, I had a lot of trouble maintaining my water plant too. I bought one from Ikea last summer and it seemed to start off well and grew really quickly. I started pruning it and that seemed to be the beginning of the end for it. Also, I couldn't stop the plant from getting mossy and I think that killed it as well. So, no more water plants for me, only airplants!!! Much easier to keep!

Actually, we were told that they'd lived quite long for their type, so apparently they'd grown to a ripe old age anyway.
