Virtual Fun

A few weeks ago, we participated in the MDC Creative Week in Cyberjaya organised by the Multimedia Development Corporation's Flagship Centre there. At some point in the afternoon, we were treated to a number of VR demos in the Flagship Centre's Silicon Graphics Virtual Reality Cave, affectionately known among the staff at the Centre as "The Egg".

At the end of the presentation, the staff loaded a flight simulation for the benefit of the 2 kids who were present and invited them to sit in the special flight seat and fly the simulation.

Every kid's dream!

I really enjoyed reading all your scripts and that bit about lesson learnt is good and a self learning curve! It is rather like what we are trying to introduce or implement at work with our team. We call it "Quick Tip of the Week" where each will try to give a tip to the rest of the team with what he or she has discoverd in their work which helps make the process or work better or quicker. Admittedly this sort of thing - Quick Tips I mean - will lose steam after a while - not your Lesson Learnt type though as that can go on- learning never stops.
